The 13th edition features numerous scholarship award presentations, speaker Paul Bolt, a Transport Canada Check Pilot and the Manager, Flight Training and Standards (Rotor Wing) for Ornge, and host Itah Sadu, storyteller and entrepreneur.

Paul Bolt
Paul Bolt is a Transport Canada Check Pilot and the Manager, Flight Training and Standards (Rotor Wing) for Ornge, Ontario’s air ambulance service provider.
Paul began his aviation career in the Jamaica Defence Force 25 years ago, where, among other things, he served as an infantry platoon commander, helicopter pilot, flight instructor and Standards Officer. Paul completed his initial military officer training at the Royal Air Force College Cranwell (UK), where he was awarded the Foreign and Commonwealth Prize for leadership and completed his fixed wing, rotor wing and later, Helicopter Instructor training with the Royal Canadian Air Force.
Since leaving the military, Paul has continued a diverse career in the aviation industry, working as an airline pilot for the national airlines, Air Jamaica and Etihad Airways in the United Arab Emirates and as a helicopter flight, simulator and academic instructor, conducting pilot training for the Royal Canadian Air Force.
Paul is married with two children and resides in Mississauga, Ontario.
Itah Sadu
Itah Sadu is a distinguished storyteller, author of children’s books and entrepreneur. All of this and her longstanding community work have resulted in her being the recipient of innumerable awards for her wide array of contributions.
Her primary focus is to work with organizations that engage in programs for youth with the focus on education, pathways and community economic development.
Itah has published children’s books: How The Coconut Got Its Face, Name Calling, Christopher Please Clean Up Your Room, and Christopher Changes His Name.
She is also co-owner of a popular Toronto bookstore and cultural centre, A Different Booklist.
